“I kind of just laughed at this article, partly because it was kind of hilarious anyway, but I do see where he’s coming from. I wouldn’t voice my opinion as strongly as him but I do rate Singapore over Hong Kong. Mind you, I *am* from Hong Kong and been to Singapore a few years. I would love to move to Singapore except it’s kind of unrealistic seeing how I’m still working at a junior level.

“His article is spot-on though about a few things, other than the obvious in dirty air, but the fact that there are vacation and getaway resorts within 2 hours! There’s close to nothing near Hong Kong and there’s nothing to do in Hong Kong. All people do is shop and watch movies, neither of which suits me.

“Thing with Hong Kong people too is quite true: even though I am from Hong Kong, I’m not a big fan of the local people here. They’re not willing to talk to strangers and people they know, instead they give you this dirty angry look all the time.”
