Joe Bonamassa Live in Hong Kong

Saturday 14 May 2011, 10.58am HKT

American blues guitarist and singer Joe Bonamassa really wowed fans at his one-night-only gig in Hong Kong on Wednesday Thursday (12th May). It was flippin’ incredible, to say the least.

(And a belated happy birthday too to Joe B, who turned 34 in Hong Kong!)

Time Out Hong Kong graciously let me win a pair of tickets to Joe B’s concert, and my thanks go out to the Time Out team. (Shouts to James — hope I remembered your name right!)

Shouts to Adeline Lee, project director of Freez Limited, for arranging the photo op with Joe B.

Wikipedia does a much better job on Joe B than I ever could — read it.

And very nice to meet some of the other photo op guests (in alphabetical order):

  • Ingrid
  • Isabelle
  • Rachelle
  • Raymond
  • and special mention to Liz (who wasn’t at the photo op, but all the same)

Without further ado, here are some horribly taken pics of the concert:

If there’s anyone out there who prefers their photos removed, just let me know…

  1. Don’t drop the photos! They are really good. I love the way that you caught the real color of the gig. I wish I’d been there!

It is the joy of being back in the West. Everything and anything can be found! Just not decent noodles.
