The man decided on a vision for this company, made sure things are done his way all the way through, concentrated less on the money or the technology but rather to help customers ‘do their thing,’ then set up a genuine succession path to carry on after his time – things rarely seen done in any company. I reckon the Far East still has some way to understand why his company succeeded and we are still playing catch-up.
