What’s with me on Facebook

THOSE ARE THE PEOPLE who like this blog’s Facebook page.

So, it seems The Naked Listener’s Weblog is liked more by females (58%) than males (28%).

Those who ‘dig’ me are either young birds/chicks (aged 18 to 24) and youngish guys (aged 25 to 34).

I’ll hazard a guess: maybe it’s because I’m 66% lucky or that my brain is 67% female.

Or maybe it’s because it’s down to the fact that I have rabbit-like feet.

Every time I’ve joined any kind of social media network anywhere on the Net, I’ve always noticed the dominant presence of people on the make. While it’s annoying to me personally, since I’m not the least interested, it’s amusing professionally. For good or ill, you are a target as a single male.

  2. Yeah, I know what you mean. Mind you, Facebookers are pretty tame and brain-damagingly awkward in their propositioning – unlike those two teens at the Clockenflap music festival who are the other extreme (and scary in their directness).
