Greetings, Programs.

It’s 2.57pm local time and it’s pissing down with spring showers right now here in Hong Kong.

Since putting The Naked Listener’s Weblog on furlough on 15th March 2012, I have received many kind words from regular readers and web-bypassers alike to not give up the ghost.

In an hour’s time, I’ll be posting a recap of March stories to tie up any loose ends. In other words, I wouldn’t want you to think the furlough is over.

To be perfectly honest, if I come back, I can’t see myself writing at the same level as before (not that I’m saying my level is any good at all to begin with).

It’s just that the ‘oomph’ — the ‘juice,’ the whatchamacallit — seems to be gone inside me.

Or maybe it’s that breakfast I had this morning that’s acting up and in imminent danger of eructation (as in ‘to eruct,’ to belch — not erection).

I recommend that you go over to The Dark Side if you haven’t already — my other (even more brain-damaged) blog called Learn English or Starve.

See you anon, Programs.
