They walk among us, really they do

OKAY, OKAY, this qualifies as the first post-furlough post.

*

Two days before I re-unfurled this fantasmagorical blog, I got sucked into this faggotisticality:—

*

Person: “Do you play rugby?”

Me: “No, I’m afraid I don’t.”

Person: “Then you’re not that British.”

Me: “Never put across that I was. You’re only going by my accent, aren’t you?”

Person: “But don’t you play rugby!”

Me: “I used to play cricket, though. That British enough for you? Tell me, what do you play — with yourself?

End of discussion. IDIOT.

Those of you who follow me on Facecrook would have seen this already.

Bear with me; I’m only 66% lucky — make the best you can with what’s on the supper plate.

Like I said in my last Site Update, my first post coming back in to The Dark Side will be brain-damaged.

This is, isn’t it?

  2. I remember moving back to Minnesota after having lived in Hawaii for awhile and having a classmate tell me they’d be happy to have me over the show me a TV, and had I heard, yet, there was this amazing thing called a Nintendo that they could show me how to play games on? By the way, what did I think of the lights? They were way cooler than having to use torches and candles, weren’t they?
