A new, old page

THE backstory about the name “The Naked Listener’s Weblog” now enjoys its own rightful place in the pantheon of navigation menu items.

About blog name

I get asked a lot about the whys and wherefores of my blog’s name, often from those who seem to disapprove especially the use of the word ‘naked.’

I’m sick and tired to having to answer the same question repeatedly so putting it in an obvious place is probably a good idea, to save your time as much as my sanity.

(God, I can’t believe the behaviour of some people, honestly…)

If any of you have any suggestions for a new name, I’m more than happy to listen (and then ignore).

I’ve never set foot outside the airport at Heathrow, but even I knew what “naked listener” meant as an expression. The variety or trolls never ceases to amaze me.

    • You’d be surprised how worked up some people can get just to see or hear ‘naked’ in a name. The real eye-opener for me is getting the “Why must you use ‘naked’ in your blog name?” question so many times. It makes wonder whether I’m actually living in the real world more than I wonder about them.
