This month’s background image is “Empty Seats,” shot by me inside a nearby Fairwood café.

Fairwood (大快活, dai fai wood, rhymes with ‘hi-fi wood’) is one of Hong Kong’s three biggest chains of fast-food eateries (the other two being Café de Coral and MX Café). All three could be thought of as the local answer to McDonald’s.

The Naked Listener’s Hall of Shame

I’ve created this new static page because a friend of mine suggested it, seeing that I’ve become fed up with some of the shameful and/or shameless antics and/or derangement of some establishments and personalities. It will be worldwide in scope, not just limited to this ex-British/now-Chinese colony of Hong Kong.

For mainly legal reasons, the Hall of Shame will also serve as the rallying point to name those ‘personages’ who troll and disrupt proceedings on this blog (plus my other one).

Broadly speaking, I’ll operate the Hall of Shame in the same way as the U.S. National Security Agency’s terrorist watchlist — once in, never removed, unless through litigation. Of course I’ll be giving my reasons for listing the names.

The new page has nothing on it yet. Trust me, you don’t want your name on my Hall of Shame.

Contact Form

I’ve also redesigned the Contact Form with preset subject lines to make things easier for all.

That’s all for now, thank you.
